Our most recent set of externally validated results, demonstrate the high academic performance of our students. Within the LBBD our students achieved some of the most impressive results. Our A-Level pass rate is 99.5% and over 1/4 of Grades achieved were A* to A (2025).
Typically students at The Sydney Russell Sixth Form study 3 A levels (2 years), 1 AS level (1 year) and 1 enrichment (1 year). You should ensure that you select one subject from each of the blocks below, guaranteeing that you meet the entry requirements.

Like every other sixth form provision in the country certain requirements need to be met before applying to study with us. To study in our Sixth Form you will need to meet the following Entry Criteria.
Admissions Policy
The Sydney Russell School Sixth Form intend to admit 120 students into Year 12 in the school year beginning September 2026.
Each application will be initially considered using the students’ most recent progress report at the time of submission. Within this, attendance, punctuality and behaviour records will be taken into consideration.
