In choosing Sydney Russell Sixth Form, you are investing in academic excellence where all students are provided with the currency they need to progress into the most competitive careers and courses. Our most recent set of externally validated results, demonstrate the high academic performance of our students. Within the LBBD our students achieved some of the most impressive results. They achieved the highest percentage of A*- B grades and had the second highest Average Point Score (2024).
Levelling the playing field
Sydney Russell Sixth Form is committed to delivering successful learning experiences and to “level the playing field” for all our students so they are equipped with the qualifications to unlock their future pathway.
In 2023/2024 82% of students secured a university place with over 62% of these at Russell Group and other top third universities such as University of Birmingham, University of Manchester and University College London. The remaining students were successful in securing a degree apprenticeship or a position in paid employment, including with Bloomberg & Black Rock.
A-Level | Headline Measures
At all points in the Sixth Form journey, our students are provided with ongoing support and monitoring to enable academic success. Every pupil is taught by subject specialists and have regular assessment points to track attainment and progress.
All teachers equip their students with independent study activities for their supervised study hours in addition to regular homework and revision. Should a student need further support, our dedicated team of Sixth Form staff, will support them on a 1-1 or small group basis.
